Airport Parking FAQs: Start Your Trip Smoothly, Like a Car Scan Before a Long Flight

Navigating airport parking can often feel like the first hurdle in your journey, especially before a long airline flight. At carcodepro.com, we understand the importance of a seamless start to your travels. Think of finding the right parking spot as crucial as running a scan on your car before a long drive – you want everything to be perfect and worry-free right from the beginning. This comprehensive guide answers all your frequently asked questions about parking at the airport, ensuring your experience is as smooth and efficient as a car scan, setting you up for a relaxed long flight.

Frequently Asked Questions About Airport Parking

Lost Parking Ticket? No Problem.

Misplaced your parking ticket? Don’t worry, it happens. If you’ve lost your ticket, simply call our Airport Ambassador team at (802) 578-3125 when you are at the exit. They are there to assist you and can quickly issue a manual ticket so you can be on your way without delay.

Guaranteed Parking Spots, Even During Holidays.

Are you concerned about parking availability during peak travel times or holidays? Rest assured, our airport provides parking 24/7, 365 days a year for all passengers. Just follow the parking signs and any directions from our parking staff. Our parking garage has five levels, with levels 4 and 5 consistently having available spaces throughout the year. You can always find a spot, making your airport experience reliable, much like a car scan ensures your vehicle’s readiness.

Picking Up or Dropping Off? Here’s Where to Go.

For quick passenger drop-offs or pick-ups, curbside is convenient. However, please remember that curbside is for active loading and unloading only, and vehicles must not be left unattended. If you’re meeting someone inside the terminal or need more time, we recommend using the onsite parking garage. It’s just $1 for the first hour, and walkways from the ground level and Level 2 elevator lobby provide easy terminal access. Alternatively, take advantage of our free Cell Phone Lot. Click here to view map. Wait comfortably in your vehicle and ask your passenger to call or text after they’ve collected their luggage. Then, proceed to the terminal curbside (Arrivals/Baggage Claim) for a swift pick-up.

Paying for Parking Made Easy.

Paying for airport parking is designed for ease and convenience. We accept credit cards – Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express – at the parking facility exits. For credit card payments, you can leave your ticket in your car. At the exit kiosk, scan your ticket and insert your credit card to complete the payment. If you need a receipt, simply press the “receipt” button after the transaction.

If you prefer to pay with cash, please take your ticket with you into the terminal. Don’t leave it in your vehicle. Upon your return, use one of the four pay-on-foot kiosks located throughout the airport to scan your ticket and insert cash. You’ll find kiosks on the second floor outside each skybridge and on the first floor in baggage claim and next to the airline counters. After payment, remember to take your receipt if needed. At the garage exit, scan either your entry ticket or the receipt barcode to exit. Currently, BTV Airport does not offer pre-paid parking options.

Remembering Where You Parked: A Simple Tip.

To easily remember your parking spot, take a quick photo of the parking level and row number with your phone. It’s a simple step that can save time upon your return. If you’ve returned to BTV and can’t recall your parking location, call us at (802) 578-3125, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Parking Tips for a Smooth Experience

Oversized Vehicles? We’ve Got You Covered.

Vehicles over 7 feet in height should proceed to Lot A surface parking. Follow the signs to Lot A from the main terminal. Garage entry is restricted to vehicles under 7 feet. For oversized parking, turn left onto Airport Drive after exiting the terminal road, and then take your first left into Lot A. For more details or assistance, please call (802) 865-7571.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Available.

Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport (BTV) provides complimentary EV charging stations on the first level of the parking garage. As you enter, look for the signs directing you to the EV charging spots. We appreciate Tesla for their collaboration in making these stations available for our eco-conscious travelers.

Extended Parking Options.

You can leave your vehicle in BTV’s parking facilities for up to 30 days without prior notification. For longer stays, please arrange in advance by calling (802) 863-2874, ext. 201. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis, and reservations are not currently available. However, we ensure parking availability for all travelers, even during peak times. All BTV parking areas are well-lit and regularly patrolled for your security. If you happen to misplace an item in the parking garage, please visit our Lost and Found page for guidance.
